Boy Scout Patches

Boy Scout Patch Collecting became a hobby of mine back when I was a kid. Scouting had always been one of my favorite things because of the outdoors.

Each week we met; and each week we planned out next outing. Once a month we either hiked a trail, camped near a river, or we did a community “service project” for a worthy cause. Just loved the friends I made and the adventure we faced together.

When I reached a higher rank in the Boy Scouts of America, the opportunity arose for me to take a trip to the National Jamboree. The jamboree was held every 4 years and I was fortunate enough to attend. What an experience it was! Flying for the first time in my life and all the way to Idaho for a week long campout with 50 thousand other scouters.

It was there that I honed my horse-trading skills and came home an official boy scout patch trader. A few years ago I decided to search the Internet to get an idea of the value to my personal patch collection. It was then that I decided to pick up my hobby again and build a site to offer patches to others who need to obtain patches for their collection.
