Be Still My Soul

Sometimes, we lose heart and the troubles of the world seem to overtake us. Anxious thoughts flood our mind and peace seems to be distant, and out of our reach.

It’s in these times that we need to fix our thoughts on the goodness of the Lord, our God. He is still God. He will still calm the raging sea within our soul.

“My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.” – Psalm 62:1-2  

This song has helped me refocus my thoughts. It has to be one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, sung by a truly angelic voice. May you feel the presence of the living God as you listen.
