Glory Reveled Tour – By His Wounds

This video, “By His Wounds”, was taken during the Glory Revealed Tour. The Christian concert was held at several venues around the United States. Among those venues was Mount Paran Church of God, where I attended the concert with some close friends. What an awesome concert it was!

This featured song from the tour (and the CD it produced) won the Gospel Music Association‘s Dove Award for the Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year. Along with that, the music also won Special Event Album of the Year.

The musicians in the band are a compilation of singer/songwriters from well-established Christian Contemporary groups. The lead singer is Mac Powell of Third Day, a popular Christian band. One of the backup singers in this video is Brian Littrell of the group, Backstreet Boys.

The message is… “by His wounds we are healed” …which tells us that it is only by Jesus’ suffering on the Cross of Calvary that heals us from sin. As you watch, listen to the rest of the words in the song.
